Yemen Chevening Hub is an independent platform led by a dedicated group of Yemeni Chevening alumni. It brings together Yemeni alumni and scholars from Yemen and beyond, alongside related community initiatives, to support leadership, learning, collaboration, and positive impact in Yemen and beyond.

The idea of Yemen Chevening Hub was first envisioned in 2021, inspired by the belief that the experiences and networks of Yemeni Chevening alumni can contribute meaningfully to supporting youth, learning, leadership, and positive impact. This idea was brought to life in July 2024 through the launch of the Hub as an independent public initiative dedicated to promoting collaboration, knowledge exchange, and community-focused efforts that support young people and communities in Yemen and beyond.

The Hub aims to create a professional and supportive space where people can share knowledge, exchange experiences, build networks, and contribute to youth development, community resilience, and positive change.

Yemen Chevening Hub's public work is guided by four broad areas of focus: capacity building, peace and stability, community development, and social justice.

Yemen Chevening Hub and its programmes operate under the umbrella of EduRise for Development.

EduRise for Development acts as the professional host organisation for the Hub. This means that the Hub's work is supported within a broader organisational framework that promotes responsible practice, public value, and professional standards.

This relationship helps the Hub operate with clearer direction, stronger organisational support, and a commitment to positive community impact.

Yemen Chevening Hub is a non-profit, community-focused platform. This means that its work is guided by public benefit, youth empowerment, learning, leadership, and positive community impact, not by private profit.

As a non-profit initiative, the Hub may seek grants, donations, sponsorships, partnerships, in-kind support, or other appropriate forms of funding to support its activities, cover reasonable operational needs, and ensure the continuity and sustainability of its public mission.

Any financial or in-kind support received for the Hub's work should be managed responsibly, transparently, and in accordance with applicable organisational requirements and relevant laws and regulations in the United Kingdom.

Non-profit work does not mean that activities have no costs; it means that resources should be directed towards the mission rather than distributed as private profit.
